Choose your anchors
Name two or three things you would be disappointed to miss. These might be the Great Wall, pandas, a dramatic landscape or time with friends. Your anchors help us build a route with a clear reason for each stop.
If the list is still long, separate must-haves from nice-to-haves. That makes the trade-offs easier to discuss.
Count the whole travel day
A flight or train journey is only part of a transfer. Packing, station or airport procedures, ground transport and checking into the next hotel all take time. Consider those transitions before adding another destination.
Connections and schedules need to be checked for your dates. A line on a map is not yet a workable itinerary.
Use our routes as comparisons
China: Then & Now focuses on Beijing and Shanghai. Essential China adds Chengdu. Ultimate China Gems connects five destinations across a longer journey. Compare the rhythm as well as the number of places.
These are starting points rather than fixed departures. We can shorten, extend or reshape a route once we understand your interests.
Protect some unscheduled time
An open afternoon can absorb a late arrival, give children a break or let you spend longer somewhere unexpected. Free time is not a gap in the planning; it is part of the experience.
If you are deciding between one extra stop and more time in the places already chosen, tell us what you hope that extra stop will add.
Bring this into your journey
Share your available days, must-see places and preferred pace. We will explain what fits comfortably and what would feel rushed.
